FICTIONAL POSTINGS / ORIGINAL LOCAL EXERCISE

Posting Comparison Bench

Compare the wording of two invented postings. Choose labels for the example, not facts about yourself. The bench highlights differences and missing information. It never ranks jobs or assesses an applicant.

Method and no-JavaScript exercise

Draw two columns headed A and B. Compare three rows: experience, credential and driving-condition wording. For each, choose required, preferred or not stated. Count equal labels and different labels separately. Count each not-stated cell as an information gap, including when both sides are not stated. Then note whether either posting lacks a clear city/state and requisition. Matching labels do not prove equivalent roles.

The result gives questions to investigate, never a fit score, eligibility finding or hiring recommendation. Read A shortlist should show what you still do not know for the method, or browse all twelve articles below.
